Expected Skills:

* Candidate is expected to have knowledge / hands on experience in:

* High speed Digital design. Knowledge of Analog circuits is an added advantage.

* HDL languages - VHDL, Verilog. In depth knowledge & hands on experience in VHDL is a MUST.

* Basic electronics circuit design, various Bus architectures such a UART, RS485, SPI, I2C, DDR2/3, USB, PCI etc. and their interfaces with SoC and Xilinx FPGA.

* Signal Integrity, Noise reduction techniques, Power tree design and its testing, Place and route Constraints in FPGA design etc.

* Xilinx ISE Tool

* VHDL coding, STA, simulation, synthesis, ucf, chipscope etc.

* Schematic & PCB design tools, SI / PI / Thermal simulation tools

* Hardware Testing and debugging, Test report generation and component evaluation.

* Component selection and interaction with vendors.

Job Responsibilities:

* VHDL coding using Xilinx ISE tool

* Schematic capture, Component selection, Design analysis for SI, PDN, Thermal, Design guidelines for PCB layout, PCB layout review.

* System level integration and troubleshooting.

* Board bring-up and test cases generation, debugging.

* Electrical and Timing characterization / testing of Hardware.

* Environmental and compliance testing of hardware

* Cost analysis and risk factors analysis involved in system development

* System verification and validation to ensure efficiency, reliability and compatibility

* Design documentation

* Interaction with relevant stakeholders

* Work effectively and communicate at all levels,

* Investigate and gather information to resolve design issues

* Assume other duties as assigned and ensure to complete design and development tasks within allotted timelines.
